Colour code
The birds of this project have a colour ring with a 1 character inscription on one lower leg and a colour ring without inscription on the other lower leg.
The color code consists of the descriptions of both colour rings. In the colour code these rings are separated by a slash ("/"):
inscription ring (2 elements)
- The letter indicating the colour of the ring (1 letter)
- the inscription (always 1 character)
unengraved ring (1 letter)
- The letter of the colour
Example WA/G. This bird has a white ring with inscription A on the left lower leg and a green ring without inscription on the right lower leg.
