Colour code
The birds in this project have two colour rings on the same leg. The upper leg has a ring without inscription and the lower leg has an inscription ring with three characters.
The colour code consists of 4 consecutive elements:
- The letter indicating the colour of the unengraved ring on the upper leg (1 letter)
- The letter indicating the colour of the engraved ring on the lower leg (1 letter)
- a hyphen ("-")
- the inscription (always 3 characters)

- The letter of the colour
Example BW-ANX. This bird has a unengraved dark blue ring on an upper leg and on the lower part of the same leg a white ring with the inscription ANX.
