The birds of this project have 1 colour ring with 5 characters.

The colour code consists of 3 consecutive elements:

1. the letter of the colour
2. a hyphen ("-")
3. the inscription (always 5 characters)

Example W-ABCDE. This bird has a white colour ring with the inscription ABCDE on it.
