Early 2017 VRS De Haar and VRS Het Gooi started in the Groene Hart area in the Netherlands with a RAS-project for survival research for Common Kestrels. As well nestlings as adult Common Kestrels are being ringed with a lime (light-green) colour ring with three black alpha code on the left tarsus. The used letters are: A, C, E, H, J, K, L, N, P, S, T, U, X, Y, Z. The ring is read from bottom to top.
